Thailand Tourism Authority, TAT wants to inform the tourists that they can download the mobile application ​“I Lert U”.

The “I Lert U” application can be downloaded for free on Google Play for Android phones and the App Store for iOS phones and is available in English and Thai.

The app is linked to the emergency centre of the tourist police 1155, where interpreters and translators are also present to help tourists in other languages.

Tourists who need 24/7 assistance can contact the tourist police through the application, which will immediately send agents on site.

The application also allows you to take a photo of an incident and upload it via the app to get help.

The Tourist Police is a branch of the Royal Thai Police that is responsible for the safety and well-being of tourists in Thailand.

There are more than 1,900 tourist police officers operating across the kingdom, including in major tourist destinations such as Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Chiang Mai.

The Royal Thai Government considers the safety and well-being of all visitors to Thailand as its top priority.
