Trash can ranger in Pattaya detained for attempting to drown 3-year-old toddler

The residents of Soi Tuanok have arrested a trash cans ranger named “Bai” for allegedly trying to drown a 3-year-old in a public toilet. The man identified only as “Bai” left his saleng.

and tried to flee the scene where he was caught allegedly assaulting a 3-year-old boy. The assault took place yesterday in a public toilet near Thamsamakee Temple on Soi Tuanok, near the parallel road.

He was held by local residents until the police arrived. The toddler’s 32-year-old mother, Khun Kanchana Thongkhao, said that her son had only been scratched but was very scared.

Nattapong Somnongwa, 14, told police he heard a boy crying in the toilet. When he opened the door, he saw that Bai was beating the man and dipped his head in a bucket of water.

When Nattapong called for help, Bai ran away, police said.
