Truck drives into one temple in Nakhon Ratchasima, injuring three

A truck driver lost control and drove straight into a temple. It was reportedly raining and the roads were slippery. 

The local rescue team in Nakhon Ratchasima province received a report of an accident on Mittraphap Road. The rescue team found a white Isuzu truck with a number plate from Bangkok. The truck drove into the temple gate, flipped over and ended up under a bridge. The 3 injured were in the truck. Coincidentally, a doctor who was able to provide first aid passed by.

The doctor helped 2 victims who had become open in the accident. They were adequately helped and they are expected to make a full recovery soon. The driver, on the other hand, is seriously injured and has, among other things, a broken leg. The rescue team provided first aid before taking him to Sung Noen Hospital.

The villagers in the area who witnessed the accident said they saw the truck driving behind a bus. The truck then tried to overtake the bus, but lost control of the vehicle. The truck started spinning on its axis and crashed into a temple, the truck is a total loss.

One of the injured stated that they belonged to a company from Samut Prakan that dealt in solar panels. The truck was full of equipment and was on its way to many provinces.

Many parts of the temple are damaged. Part of the temple gate has been shattered and an investigation will help reveal what or who is responsible for the accident. Part of the public road has also been damaged. The driver will receive medical care and will be cared for in hospital until he can be safely taken home.
