UEFA fines England 30,000 euros fine

The English Football Association (FA) has been fined €30,000. UEFA has handed out the penalty for three incidents during Wednesday’s semi-final at the European Championship against Denmark (2-1).

Just before Harry Kane’s decisive penalty kick, Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel got a laser pointer aimed at him. Referee Danny Makkelie had already mentioned this in his report on the semi-final battle. English fans also set off fireworks and disrupted the Danish national anthem.

England will face Italy in the final of the European Championship on Sunday.
