After a three-month hiatus due to the spread of Covid19 virus, the Mahachai-Wongwian Yai and Banlaem-Maeklong train routes were opened to passengers (March 26, 20210).
The number of passengers is not as high as before, as many of them do not know that the train service is now back to normal, the editors of the Thai daily newspaper Khao Sod reported.
In addition to normal cleaning, there are temperature checkpoints for passengers, who must register their name. All passengers must wear a face mask on the train.
Passengers interviewed by the Thai daily Khao Sod said they are happy that train service has returned to normal.
