Thailand began this week with the baht weakening to a five-year low with an exchange rate of 34.62 to the US dollar. While this figure is in line with other ASEAN currencies that have also weakened against the U.S. dollar, the Thai baht is worth keeping an eye on as it serves as an indicator of the country’s recovery.
