A Thai woman on her way from her home to work was badly injured after hitting a thin utility cable in Sri Racha.
Snell Jelle, our raging reporter, jumped on his motorcycle and drove to the affected street in front of Wat Nong Khla in the Bueng sub-district of Sri Racha after the woman claimed on Facebook that she was nearly beheaded by the thin wire left on the street. dangled.
The victim, Pimphisa, who lived nearby, told Jelle that she was on her way home from work and had accidentally hit the cable, nearly tumbling off her motorcycle. “The cable was barely visible. If I had driven faster, I might have been decapitated,” the victim complained, showing Jelle a red bruise on her neck.
In order to comply with the woman’s complaint, a number of municipal workers came round the corner to get rid of the unused dangling cables. They told local media that most of these cables were from private companies and that they would warn them to better maintain their cables.
