The third season of the Netflix series You is finally here! Earlier this year it was already announced that the new season would appear in the second half of 2021. Now Netflix has announced an exact release date for the series about the charming psychopath Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) through a video.
CAKE FOR SON
The video shows Joe making a cake. That cake is intended for the son that Joe will have with his pregnant lover Love (Victoria Pedretti). In the background, you can hear the voice of Joe, who is thinking about a name for his son.
CAUTION “YOU” SPOILERS AHEAD
okay no joke y’all i have a theory on who this mystery neighbor is: it HAS to be joe’s mom bc a) we don’t know if she ever died and b) i doubt joe would cheat on love after ALL OF THAT. so now i ask your opinion, who do you think it is?

WILL JOE CHANGE?
The entire series focuses on the charming Joe Goldberg, who is looking for the love of his life. But Joe is also a life-threatening psychopath, who keeps promising himself that he can change. But because of his obsessive and creepy behaviour, he quickly makes victims.
Also in this new video, Joe can be heard telling his son that he can change. “I can change for you. I’ll become a man you look up to, a man you’ll be proud to call ‘Daddy,'” he says. Whether that will actually happen remains to be seen.
15TH OCTOBER
Finally, the video reveals that the baby will be named ‘Henry’. For example, you can read ‘Welcome Baby Henry’ in red letters on the cake. When Joe then cuts a piece out of the pie, the release date can be seen on it, namely October 15, 2021!
SEASON 3 SPECULATIONS
The second season of You ended with Joe peeking through the fence of his new home at his neighbour and a possible new victim. Fans of the series then speculated on Twitter who the mysterious woman Joe is spying on might be. According to the most popular theory, it is none other than his mother.
